A New Chapter for Mary’s Lunchbox

I’m proud to announce that Drew and I have made the decision to sell Mary’s Lunchbox to Tom Hohman, one of the earliest members of the Mary’s family who has since gone on to earn a wonderful reputation as one of Greenville’s best specialty dessert craftsmen.

To all of the family and friends who have supported us in our three restaurant endeavors over these last 25 years, it is with a humble and grateful heart that I want to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to realize one of the greatest and most ambitious dreams of my lifetime. It’s no exaggeration to say that your love and support truly made this small town girl’s dreams come true.

We have so many mixed feelings about closing this chapter, but the wonderful memories will stay with us forever. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of them.

We wish Tom our best and hope this new journey fills his life with as much pride and joy as it has ours. You can see his new website at thelunchboxsimpsonville.com.

With gratitude,

Mary & Drew

Our Story

Mary Jones began delighting customers in 1995 with her eclectic and contemporary southern menu, prepared simply and served in a charming, casually elegant setting. From her first location in downtown Fountain Inn, to her café at the Historic Wilkins House on Augusta Street to Falls Cottage at Falls Park and Mary’s Lunchbox in Simpsonville, Mary’s was a destination for guests in just about every corner of the Upstate for more than twenty-five years. Today, Mary and her husband Drew spend most of their time traveling, playing golf, gardening and entertaining their furry babies, Buster, Picasso and Lizzie (Borden!).
